Role Overview:
• Reporting into the territory GM, this area is responsible for the management, coordination, and delivery of territory commercial analysis across all relevant KPIs, such as but not limited to PS Store, services, D@R, console, software, and Peripherals.
• The candidate will play a key role in generating, consolidating, and communicating key data/insight that drives business understanding, decisions & strategy.
• Working across all local functions, the candidate will a play a key role in helping to knit all departments together and ensure key business decisions, where appropriate, are grounded in easily accessible, robust data.
• Acting as the UKI lead representative within the wider PlayStation global analyst community to unlock and share insight across the business.

What you'll be doing:
• Forecasting – Playing a lead role in the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of monthly, quarterly & Budget forecasts across key product areas of the business.
• Data Coordination, Evolution & Reporting – Managing and evolving the business master data to ensure the foundations of our data are kept up to date and adapting to the constantly evolving business needs. This area also includes the management of external data providers e.g GFK
• Fast Paced Insight – With a strong understanding of the business data and trends, the role will often be required to deliver quick ad-hoc insight to help understanding of changing business trends.
• Strategy & Budget Planning – Working with the key partners to help shape the direction of the business strategy and ensure that where applicable this strategy is grounded in robust data.
• Cross Functional Working – Working across the business (including Northern Europe region) to help ensure data/insight is the foundation of our project groups and is easily accessible/understood.
• Analyst Community – Acting as the UKI representative within the EMEA/Global analyst community to help share and uncover best practice/insight that can benefit the business both locally and globally
• Business Updates – Playing in a key role in the easy dissemination and articulation of the key business performance trends/insight

What we're looking for:
• A highly technical and skilled analyst, demonstrating an explorer mentality in driving value from data
• An ability to work efficiently at pace during weekly reporting periods
• 5 years+ years' experience working as an analyst, data analyst, or other related occupation
• Experience with the following analytical and visualisation tools would be an advantage: MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qliksense, Power BI
• Database querying experience (SQL) preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate their analysis effectively and prepared to challenge established thinking backed up by data and insight.
• An ability to manage and balance multiple tasks and projects with a keen eye for detail
• High emotional intelligence and ability to work effectively in groups/projects
• BSc/BA in Business/ Economics, Science or Mathematics preferred
• A curiosity about the Gaming industry is always an advantage
