Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Business Analyst in San Mateo, CA to build out the enterprise data catalog to enable data consumers to quickly find, understand, and trust business intelligence data. Requires a Master's degree in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent, and one (1) year of experience developing scalable queries and solutions to meet business needs. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience utilizing MySQL and PostgreSQL to create queries, metrics, and KPIs; utilizing SQL and Python to write ETL scripts and build data pipelines to create custom tables based on business requirements to derive insights; performing ad-hoc analyses with Excel and SQL to support business needs; utilizing Tableau to create generic and dynamic dashboards to track daily and monthly metrics and KPIs; quantifying and documenting technical results using Google documents and Confluence; utilizing JIRA to track technical and non-technical issues and team stories; identifying process improvement and automation opportunities, developing standard operating procedures, and creating and standardizing analytical approaches for the acceleration of analyses; and conceptualizing and reporting new metrics to support business reviews and analyses.
