An exciting opportunity to join a globally distributed team that supports PlayStation Studios & their projects.

As Associate Manager, your responsibilities will be working with the Compliance Testing Manager to provide excellent Compliance Testing services to PlayStation Studios, whilst providing leadership and guidance to the testing team. You will get to work with ground-breaking hardware and videogames within a large multicultural, multi region team; helping us drive and build the future of Compliance testing.

What you'll be doing:
• Manage regional Compliance Testing services across PlayStation Exclusive Games.
• Coordinate team efforts to ensure effective and quality service delivery.
• Responsible for recruitment, selection, training, development, and regular performance appraisals
• Handle and balance team workload, through effective delegation to direct reports
• Work to develop and mature services to meet current and future business demands, while assisting the wider Compliance & Release services organization in defining organizational challenges and strategies.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service with regular customer engagement, and ensure robust measuring, monitoring, and tracking capabilities.
• Support the Manager of Compliance Testing in achieving all assigned goals.
• Work with global teams, peers, and direct reports to ensure effective regional service delivery.
• Handle and balance team workload, through effective delegation to direct reports
• Ensure all team policy and processes are implemented appropriately
• Supervise/track and manage performance levels of the team and suggest and implement improvement strategies.
• Work towards global alignment through implementation of new strategies and process
• Identify service improvement and growth opportunities and feedback into team strategy
• Track performance and effectiveness by monitoring patterns of business activity
• Work to develop an inclusive and diverse team
• Develop and lead by example to create a positive, energetic, and friendly team culture and embody cultural leadership values and behaviors
• Collaborate with your peer group and applicable department teams to promote knowledge sharing and the cultivation of innovation within PlayStation Studios QA

• Global Development Technology Group (GDTG)
• Marketing
• Global Store Services and Global Sales and Business Operations
• Global Format QA Management
• Studios – Producers/Studio Heads

Must have Experience
• Minimum of 1+ years experience in a team leadership/managerial role
• Excellent understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Processes
• Experience with budgetary oversight and planning
• Deep understanding of quality assurance techniques, frameworks and methodologies
• Excellent communication, organizational and social skills
• Willingness to demonstrate SIE cultural leadership values: Communicates, Innovates, Collaborates, Includes
• Interactive media/games industry experience

Beneficial Experience
• Good games industry appreciation and understanding
• Excellent PlayStation and other console platform knowledge
• Cross-cultural/Global working experience
• Good business sense and understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of software testing nomenclature
• Competency in MS Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Confluence, Jira and Visio.
• Excellent communication - strong business writing skills, public speaking and presentation and listening skills.
• Must have the ability to develop strong intra-departmental relationships through effective communication and professionalism.
• Ability to see a task through to completion, on time and to quality.
• Formal management and/or project management qualification desirable
• Certified in ITIL Service Management
• 5 years + experience in software development, service, or business management
