What you'll be doing:

We are looking for a driven Accounts Assistant to join our International Production & Localisation team at PlayStation Studios.
Our team works with some of the most creative and quality-driven development teams in the industry to deliver best in class localisation production and publishing solutions for critically acclaimed franchises like Horizon, God of War, The Last of Us, Dreams, Ghost of Tsushima. We also work closely with Sony Interactive Entertainment's publishing teams, including Marketing, PR and Operations, to help manage their global translation requirements for printed materials and digital content.

In this role, you will be responsible for the group's accounts payable processes, ensuring all associated administrative tasks are managed timely and effectively. You will support the Finance & Reporting Manager in ensuring all finance and accounting processes for the IPL group are managed accurately and efficiently.

What we're looking for:
• Coordinate and contribute to financial forecasting of titles and other projects.
• Collect and prepare monthly summaries from suppliers ready for approval.
• Raise and manage purchase orders and ensure invoices align.
• Ensure accuracy by working effectively with our vendors and project managers to resolve queries and correct any errors.
• Review accounts from previous months to ensure accuracy, and update project managers with actuals at month close.
• Review chargebacks each month and ensure correct coding.
• Produce monthly reports for our partners across PlayStation and PlayStation Studios.
• Assist in identifying improvements and efficiencies, including process standardisation and automation.
• Work with our Finance and Reporting Manager to manage quarterly and year end finance and accounting processes.

Skills Required:
• 2+ years in an Accounts Assistant role or similar
• Experience of working with SAP
• Good knowledge of accounting processes
• Ability to explain complex problems in simple terms.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel in particular (formulas, vba, pivot tables)
• Highly methodical and detail focused
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Autonomous, self-motivated, solution-minded.
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills to build strong partnerships with stakeholders globally, both internally and externally.
