We are currently seeking an Engineer of Network Services to join our team. In this position, the successful candidate will:
• Have at least 5 years of network experience with a focus on IP routing and protocols
• Assist with the design and operation of all aspects of the corporate and warehouse networks, including LAN, WAN, cloud networking, security, and Wi-Fi
• Assist with the design and operations of a global enterprise network
• Provide basic project management for network-related projects
• Be responsible for network management, including the selection of tools and overseeing their operation
• Share responsibility for the configuration and operation of network devices: routers, switches, firewalls, IP telephony gateways, Wi-Fi access points, etc.
• Be responsible for keeping technology current, cost effective, and efficient
• Effectively communicate with other teammates in our organization as well as external partners and customers
• Be a strong team player that is able to work independently while being flexible enough to support a 24/7 environment
Experience with the following technologies are strongly preferred:
• Cisco IOS switches and routers
• Cisco ACI data center
• AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
• BIND and Active Directory DNS
• SolarWinds management platform
• BGP routing
