Global Talent Systems and Operations Manager

Penguin Random House, the leading publishing house in the US, is excited to hire for our Global Talent Management & Development (GTM&D) Team based in NYC/USA. The GTM&D team is a fast-paced, collaborative team that sits at the company's core working in close partnership with our country HR teams, employees, and leaders worldwide to drive the PRH global talent strategy at a local, and global level, including with our parent company, Bertelsmann, headquartered in Germany.

Responsibilities (will include but aren't limited to):
• Project manage a range of technical or digital projects from systems roll-outs into new companies, departments, and territories, to managing the production of programs, or the launch of new eLearning.
• Oversee and be the technical lead for the Talent management System (SAP Successfactors) and other talent and learning platforms, including becoming the subject matter expert and go-to person for all system users and stakeholders worldwide.
• Maintain the data quality and best-practices for using the talent management system, including managing and evolving system processes, overseeing the global data feeds, reporting, and problem-solving technical issues.
• Set-up and oversee ongoing talent processes that are launched or live in the talent management system such as the Performance and Potential evaluations, talent factsheets, and learning assignments.
• Manage the annual talent management system budgeting process, including liaising with the PRH territories and our shareholders to ensure accurate billing.
• Source and manage the roll-out of new eLearning/digital learning required to meet compliance and/or local learning and development needs.
• Actively look for opportunities to use technology to support the effectiveness of talent management from digitalizing our systems training, providing real-time and in-the-moment learning, and creating seamless employee experiences.
• Vendor and Stakeholder relationship management including eLearning and assessment providers, business stakeholders, and technical and system teams.
• Other ad hoc activities required to provide operational support to an evolving Talent team.

Requirements:
• 3-5 years' experience within HR and Talent, or equivalent function
• Ability to build, manage and leverage relationships with internal and external partners across varying levels and geographies
• Demonstrates strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to successfully work on and deliver multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Demonstrate advanced analytical, HRIS/talent management system and budget management experience (desirable experience with SAP/Successfactors)
• Ability and flexibility to work effectively across cultures and international time zones, including Europe, Latin America, and Asia
• Possesses a forward-thinking, and solution-focused mindset and approach
• Analytically minded and able to design, define, and extract data from reports; requiring proficiency with Excel
• Approaches all tasks with a positive, can-do, problem-solving attitude
• Strives for accuracy and pays attention to detail
• Capacity to read and extract learnings from data to inform talent decisions, identify areas for improvement, and assess the effectiveness of talent development solutions
