Associate, Project Management

We are currently seeking a project management associate to join the Marketing Art Department in the Penguin Random House Audio Division. Reporting directly to the marketing art director, the associate will work closely with the art, marketing, and publicity teams and will play a crucial role in monitoring the workflow between departments for advertising and social media campaigns.

Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining and monitoring the art dept. tracking system via Smartsheet web app which includes tracking the status of all projects and feedback between departments
• Maintaining efficiency of processes
• Helping address roadblocks in project life cycle
• Moderating status check-ins with the design, marketing, and publicity teams; schedule additional touchpoints as needed to facilitate projects with design and stakeholders
• Relaying communications between departments as needed with an eye to moving projects along to completion within deadlines
• Liaising with freelancers on projects
• Provide administrative support to designers as needed
• Proofreading projects for release to vendors

Please apply if you meet the following requirements:
• Minimum 2 years' professional experience in project management, preferably with a background or strong interest in marketing design and experience in liaising with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Smartsheet, Jira, and Microsoft Office and Teams
• Aptitude for improving workflow efficiency and enforcing best practices
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to keep oversight of many concurrent projects daily
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and shifts in project management duties
• Collaborative mindset in troubleshooting workflow issues between departments
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Copyediting and proofreading skills required

Helpful additional skills:
• Knowledge of agile development process and other project management methodologies

Salary for this role is $50,000.00
