Job Description
PDF Workflow and Color Management Support (PWCMS) is a print and publishing technologies group that supports design and production teams across all publishing divisions, Information Technology (IT), and shared services departments. We work collaboratively with these teams to solve the technical issues that arise as part of the prepress, design, and print process. We maintain company-wide best practices by standardizing workflows, reinforced through availability of documentation and training.
This full-time position will report to the senior manager of Systems Management and Workflow, a subteam of PWCMS dedicated to integrating workflow solutions that align with improving efficacy and efficiency in our design and production teams. This role will assist in managing servers, hardware and software testing, troubleshooting of core Adobe CC applications, as well as developing training resources and documentation for our users. With an emphasis on closing the gap between graphic design and IT, a strong technical background within the sandbox of the Adobe ecosystem, macOS, and Windows is a must.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate with different groups across all divisions to articulate, aggregate, and solve workflow deficiencies
• Mediate across departments where the technical language, expertise, and understandings may differ
• Develop and implement comprehensive training solutions and documentation for knowledge sharing across publishing divisions of all skill levels (i.e., virtual training sessions, one-sheets and full-length documentation, online tools, video tutorials, etc.)
• Ensure training materials and resources are systematically updated as processes and functions change over time
• Monitoring and managing of production servers and software that drive automation workflows and large-format printers
• Provide operational support of Adobe applications and various server workflows maintained by our team
• Provide technical support and consultations to our design and production teams
• Continued updating of job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and researching upcoming technology and software solutions to enhance user experience
Qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience in either print design or IT
• Proven written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities
• Proven dependability and highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong command of technology
• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks with equal effectiveness
• Ability to foster and execute in individual, team, and collaborative environments
Technical Skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
• Moderate proficiency in Adobe CC Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat required
• High proficiency in macOS and Windows/Windows Server required
• Bonus skills: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, basic understanding of computer networking, and working pre-media knowledge
