The Role
• The role reports to the SVP, Marketing Comms and Media Planning and is responsible for co-ordinating Peacock's go to marketing planning. Providing context and rich insights to help shape our full funnel go to market plans. The Senior Director will act as the consumer champion and is charged with bringing the Peacock story together across the marketing ecosystem. The role sits in our comms planning and media team, so this is about taking the plan and ensure it is translated into innovative, efficient comms strategies to hit our KPI's working tightly with our media team and partners.
• It's a fast paced, changing environment so there is a need to be nimble and flexible in our planning approach. Working collaboratively on the development of the plan but staying close to teams as we work through seamless execution. In summary, the planning role needs to shape direction in the long-term as well as supporting the dynamics of the business in the immediate term.

Key Responsibilities
• Leading our Go to Market activity, driving and refining the overall planning process
• Having your finger on the pulse of our customer insights as well as the broader market. You need to be capable of taking data and translating into usable insight
• Co-ordinating timely delivery of our Annual and Quarterly Plans, ensuring plans are KPI led, innovative, actionable and well socialized
• Working across teams to ensure we have a single, aligned view of our plans that will drive our business forward
• Plans need to address both acquisition targets as well as retention and churn KPI's
• Plans need to embrace the full funnel working with key stakeholders across our brand and growth teams
• Using audience segmentation to provide direction and priority to our plans. Contributing to the overall development and creation of our segments moving forward
• Shaping plans to provide strategic direction we can translate into cohesive comms plans
• Be the conduit to the comms briefing process, interfacing with both creative and media teams in development of a unified briefing process
• Working with the media team & our media partners to create cut through comms plans that will achieve our objectives
• Ensure there is a continual process of feedback and analysis that allows the iteration and development of our plans

Qualifications/Requirements
• C.7 years of planning and comms strategy experience.
• C. 7 years' experience working with media in a direct-to-consumer business that is data driven.
• Strong knowledge of various streaming business models (AVOD, SVOD, TVOD) and extensive knowledge of the Direct-to-Consumer and/or streaming services space and potential threats and opportunities.

• Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels including leading Senior Exec presentations; proven ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as collaboratively; exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
