The Position
Excited about building thoughtful marketing strategies with partners? Eager to drive innovation and optimization? We are looking for a Sr. Email Marketing Manager to join the CRM team to develop and optimize an email marketing program designed to maximize relevancy at each touchpoint. This role will lead a team of email marketers in creating a scalable program using automations, personalization, and data.
Responsibilities
• Lead a team of passionate email marketers for the execution and ongoing iteration of email programs.
• Monitor deliverability and ensure CAN-SPAM compliance to ensure inbox placement and maintain channel health.
• Leverage vendor relationships to identify automation opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry developments, best practices, and innovative execution strategies.
• Develop a quarterly testing roadmap and iterate on plans based on KPIs and business priorities to ensure channel goals are met.
• Power-user of email service provider and customer data platform to provide actionable insights, develop optimizations through learnings and best practices, and identify new opportunities for timely messaging.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to analyze results, design multi-channel lifecycle journeys, and ensure strategic alignment in initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with design, copy, and strategy teams to ensure messaging vision is translated accurately into email campaigns.
• Own executional workflows and develop solutions to streamline processes between partners and internal teams.
• Support review process of content and calendar audits with Audience and Content teams to ensure all campaigns are reviewed for seamless execution.
• Liaise with Product, Landing Pages, MarTech, and Editorial teams for upcoming roadmaps and releases and identify opportunities for a fan-engaging clickthrough experience.
Qualifications/Requirements
• 5+ years relevant email marketing and email operations experience.
• Hands on experience building complex email campaigns in segmentation and testing within an email service provider ie. Braze, Adobe Campaign Manager, or Salesforce.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with project management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication; good listener with the ability to internalize feedback.
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and product managers, designers, and technology providers
• Experience managing direct reports
• Hands on experience building complex segmentation, automations, and dynamic content blocks
• Entertainment industry marketing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently. Team player who also demonstrates leadership skills in a matrix managed organization with multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of HTML, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office required
