Responsibilities
This position is on the Decision Sciences team with a charter to provide valuable insights that enable next level data-driven decision making by our Marketing and Media teams. As Senior Analyst, you will work in a high-visibility and fast-paced environment, delivering analyses that support initiatives that have a tangible impact on Peacock's growth and success as it establishes itself as a major player in the streaming landscape.
Responsibilities:
• Query and analyze complex data sets to develop customer insights that drive decision-making and support cross-functional initiatives to drive brand awareness and strategy
• Partner closely with business stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Product, Editorial, Social or Content teams) to define business needs, craft analytic approach and develop data solution
• Develop analyses and surface insights to drive new customer sign-ups, and awareness and engagement of new content on the platform
• Synthesize complex analyses, KPIs, and concepts into digestible presentations for a variety of audiences, including key stakeholders and leadership
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Elevates understanding of Peacock Brand Marketing by leveraging media insights to measure impact, drive actionable results, and determine areas of opportunity and/or improvement
• Help contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture at Peacock
Qualifications/Requirements
• 2+ years of analytical experience working with large, complex data sets and analytical tools
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel and at least one additional programming languages used for data analysis (e.g., R, Python)
• Experiences with Tableau or other data visualization tool
• Experience with media and advertising channels (e.g., Search, Display, Social, etc.)
• Familiarity with media/entertainment industry a plus
• Strategic thinker with ability to derive conclusions and recommendations from raw data
• Team oriented and collaborative with an aptitude and willingness to learn
• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other relevant quantitative fields
