NBCUniversal is hiring a Senior Manager of Editorial Operations to help track product feature releases and shepherd key technology work for the Platform Editorial team at our direct-to-consumer streaming service, Peacock. We are looking for a cool-headed candidate with a track record of designing processes to solve complex challenges, governing cross-functional workstreams and managing projects to completion.

The Platform Editorial team is tasked with driving viewership, curating content for a wide variety of audience segments and ensuring the readiness of the streaming library by managing a constantly expanding catalog of titles that spans entertainment, sports, anime and numerous languages. It is a 24/7 operation responsible for updating based on performance, programming tactics and events unfolding in real time while working in coordination with globally distributed colleagues in technical, marketing and partner teams.

The role of Senior Manager, Editorial Operations will be responsible for working directly with our adjacent product and tech teams on a day-to-day basis. They will help define product requirements, track and report on the progress of product enhancements as they advance through the development pipeline and act as the Editorial team stakeholder for front-end and back-end teams. They will also carry a sense of personal responsibility for the excellence of their work and a keen interest measuring the performance of their efforts.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Product and Technology groups to ensure editorial requirements were communicated, tested and validated.
• Present project status to executive leadership and stakeholders to provide transparency and ensure objectives are being met.
• Prioritize a backlog of editorial needs to ensure that highest value development work is delivered in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other product managers, design, data and strategy teams to develop holistic points of view and confidently make product decisions 
• Partner with project management and technology teams in the US and Europe and influence multi-year product roadmaps across Peacock and SkyShowtime.

Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years' experience in technology or digital media preferably with consumer-facing products
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to work flexibly across departments as well as manage internal and external partners in a dynamic environment
• Software literacy and comfort with various product tools such as Jira and AirTable
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects
• Must be able to work East Coast hours
