Senior Analyst, International Data Governance

As part of the Peacock Decision Sciences team, the Senior Analyst, Data Governance will advise on implementing data protection procedures for ensuring a high level of data governance across Peacock's qnd its partner's technical systems, while championing the integration of regulatory and legal requirements into our product footprint. Reporting into the Manager, Data Governance, this role will work closely with Privacy Counsels and a wide range of internal stakeholders, to help define and implement strategies to achieve the successful growth of Peacock. These strategies and processes will govern consumer data throughout the data lifecycle. Responsibilities include:
• Assisting in the development of processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including CCPA, COPPA, GDPR, and VPPA.
• In partnership with the Manager and team, develop a scalable data governance program including but not limited to:
• Working with members of the Data Governance program business team and product management teams to identify, deliver, and document capabilities for storing and making data knowledge more accessible and understandable across the organization
• Documentation of policies and standards associated with business unit data assets and data availability
• Coordination of intake of requirements and facilitation to the technology teams to execute Data Governance strategies and enable preventative and detective controls
• Ongoing support of cross-functional policy making teams

Qualifications/Requirements
• 2-3+ years of experience working with regulatory compliance frameworks
• 1-2+ years of technical experience with data & analytics platforms, specific exposure to real time data environments a plus
• 1-2+ years of primary experience in defining, documenting and implementing Data Governance best practices, data requirements, policies & procedures, preferably with consumer data in a large organization
• Strong analytical, technical and organizational skills to troubleshoot issues, analyze the cause, quickly come-up with the possible solution(s), document the changes, and communicate to the change to the organization
• BA/BS in technical or quantitative discipline or relevant work experience
