Job Description
Responsibilities
The Producer is responsible for producing breakthrough NBCU cross portfolio and Peacock video content. In
the fast-paced environment of an agency, the Producer must embrace tight deadlines and manage teams
efficiently to deliver the highest quality of content for the most cost-effective approach. This position will also be
responsible for guiding & connecting the internal creative and production teams with the latest leading innovative
technologies, production companies, and industry creative resources to collaborate with. This position interfaces
heavily with the entire sales organization, advertising clients, network creative & production teams, and celebrity
talent teams. The Producer oversees budgetary and physical production needs as well as post-producing custom
content, internal marketing reels and executive videos through delivery of the content. This position will report
into the VP, Executive Producer.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
• Manage all aspects of physical productions, including: creating internal budgets and estimates for all
productions along with VP, Executive Producer and Executive Producer, identifying potential director
and production partners, managing pre-production (including negotiating internal/external bids and
liaising with NBCU legal in drafting and executing vendor/talent/clearance agreements), supervising live
action shoots (including hiring and managing freelance production crews as an internal production
company, hire & manage external production services and traditional production companies), and
supervising editorial sessions through delivery.
• Management of overall group budget and manage production operations assistant
• Produce projects ranging from internal pitch videos, branded custom content, social content, digital only
videos (short & long form) to 360 broadcast and digital campaigns
• Help in organizing and scheduling internal resources to support all ongoing productions
• Work hand in hand with legal, BA, music services, payroll companies, finance, to manage clearances
and substantiation, cost reporting and best practices for all broadcast and digital content
• Mentor and train junior production team members

Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years working in the broadcast media landscape
• Must have on-set production experience (including knowledge of union, guild & labor laws), as well as
post-production rates, timelines & budget
• Must be able to work outside of normal business hours as job duties or assignment requires,
sometimes with little or no advance notification
• Must have standing relationships with vendors in the industry to collaborate on projects, and be
enthusiastic in developing relationships with new vendors
• Experienced in managing multiple ongoing productions simultaneously and successfully
• Ability to produce quality content within a broad range of budgets
• Ability to travel as required
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
