Responsibilities
Peacock Kids is seeking to add a new Post Production Coordinator to the Post Production team. Peacock Kids is a division within Peacock that develops, produces, and distributes digitally native content for kids on a variety of platforms, including the YouTube channels Peacock Kids and Colossal Cranium.

This position will support the Manager, Post Production in executing the day-to-day tasks involved in overseeing a slate of digital content produced both in-house and through external vendors. The Post Production Coordinator plays a key role in communication with cross-functional team members in order to fulfill needs related to delivery; tracking and organizing vital post information, workflows and deliverables from pre-production through post & wrap; as well as helping to support ongoing projects with cross-departmental teams at Peacock Kids.

A successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of and experience in post-production. Candidates should be tech-savvy, self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast moving position that requires someone who is solution driven and a positive thinker. Candidates should excel at exercising good judgment and communication even during times of ambiguity.

Responsibilities
• Work with the Manager, Post Production to coordinate schedules and ensure delivery of all materials for timely editorial.
• Confirm assigned naming conventions and production ID's are used in accordance with Peacock Kids' post production processes.
• Facilitate a steady and thorough flow of information, ensuring deadlines and expectations are communicated back and forth.
• Work with third party vendors to communicate technical specifications, post needs and workflows. Itemize receipts in accounting system.
• Coordinate the gathering, submitting and tracking of timecards, invoices, NDA's, etc. for all freelance editorial crew.
• Verify accuracy of all post production information; maintaining detailed records for both production and legal purposes.
• Create, maintain and update internal and external facing documents related to post guidelines, technical specifications, and other department related documents.
• Maintain database and library of project drives and files.
• Manage quality control on all final assets, renders, and master files to ensure that proper protocol is followed.
• Co-manage localization process, alongside Production Coordinator, to localize video across multiple languages and markets.
• Tackle Ad-Hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with post-production, editing and media file types
• Self-motivated, proficient multi-tasker, able to stay organized with multiple simultaneous projects
• Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with the ability to be flexible
• A general interest in children's content
• Advanced knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, & Word), and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro & After Effects)
• Working knowledge of shared area network storage (ISIS/Unity/XSAN) & Airtable (database) is a plus
• Working knowledge of color spaces & DaVinci Resolve workflows is a plus
