The Director of Programming would work with the VP of Topical Programming and Development on all aspects of Sports/WWE-related content on Peacock, with focus on these key areas:
PARTNERSHIP AND PROGRAMMING MANAGEMENT
Maintain partner relationships and help coordinate scheduling, communication, production and operational execution across the following areas:
• WWE: Live and VOD programming
• Live Sports event integration
• Sports-related virtual channels: NBC Sports, GolfPass, WWE, Olympics, NFL
• Sports Documentaries and Original Series
INTERNAL PROGRAMMING COORDINATION
Serve as central hub of communication for Sports/WWE content across key internal Peacock departments, including:
• Programming
• Product
• Editorial
• Tech/Ops
• Research
• Sales Integration
• Marketing & PR
• Legal
• Finance
LIVE SPORTS TALK SHOW COORDINATION
Work across all aspects Peacock's live sports talk show channel
• Interface with show production teams and talent
• Identify/experiment with new programming and special shoulder programs around big events
• Monitor and message overall channel and individual show analytics
• Work with sales and the shows to maximize sponsorships and in-show integrations
• Work with PR and marketing teams to execute strategy around key special events
STRATEGIC PLANNING
• Utilize data to assist in programming and content decision making
• Assist in evaluation original content and other sports event opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements
- 8-10 Years in Digital Content/Production/Programming
- 5-10 Years experience in Sports Media
- Extensive knowledge of WWE and related content
- Experience working with high-profile talent
- Experience working in streaming media
- Extensive understanding of digital analytics/metrics
