The Director will be the analytics partner for the product organization, focused on understanding the end to end customer experience. They will collaborate across product, engineering and other experts to shape a shared data-driven strategic vision. The individual will execute on this vision translating insights into actionable decisions throughout the entire product lifecycle. The Director will also partner with other data and decision science teams to share best practices and improve capabilities around data modeling, testing, personalization and visualization. They will build out a best-in-class product analytics team with a diverse set of skills to help meet business and product goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Recruit and lead a team of analytics professionals focused on hypothesis-driven data analysis projects that grow the product through insights and experimentation
• Translate insights into product direction and empower execution in a data-informed manner throughout the product lifecycle to drive peacock growth
• Deeply understand the peacock ecosystem, defining and analyzing metrics that evaluate our trajectory and inform the success of our products
• Develop deep product intuition that you leverage to influence future product roadmaps and drive decision making
• Collaborate with Testing and Experimentation team
• Prepare dashboards with visualizations and KPI tracking for senior executives
• Present research on user behavior, product enhancements, and metrics development / methodology to all levels of the company ensuring transparency and partnership
• Foster a culture of execution excellence and analytical rigor

Qualifications/Requirements
• 5+ years of applied experience in eCommerce, social network, direct to consumer or media entertainment with a strong focus on analytics, product, project management, & user behavior
• 3+ years of people management / history of elevating a team
• BA/BS in technical or quantitative disciple or significant relevant work experience
• Experience defining instrumentation and analyzing data in digital analytics platforms (e.g. Snowplow, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
• Coding skills for data analysis (SQL, Python, R, etc.+)
• Experience performing analysis with large datasets, i.e. Amazon AWS, Snowflake, or Google Big Query
• Experience with A/B testing and experiment design
• Extensive knowledge of statistics and analytical concepts
• Experience in using data to drive product decisions and change opinions.
