This role is embedded in the Peacock Decision Sciences team, focused on developing actionable media insights to drive Peacock platform growth. Primary focus is the mission-critical collaboration between Peacock and other NBCU brands (e.g. Film, Entertainment) across owned and paid media.
Responsibilities:
• Conceive and execute analytics strategy for media measurement, insights and optimization to inform Peacock's partnership with other NBCU brands
• Serve as Peacock Decision Sciences point person for analytics and media partners from other NBCU brands, including media agencies
• Collaborate with marketing leadership to evolve media strategy based on learnings and drive change to maximize Peacock platform growth
• Synthesize complex analyses into media performance and user-level behaviors on Peacock platform into digestible insights for a variety of audiences, including media stakeholders and executive leadership
• Develop self-serve dashboards to enable 'analytics as a team sport' and evangelize data democratization
• Recruit, develop and supervise a team of analysts who combine technical skills with strong communication and business acumen
• Partner with Data Science team to guide predictive modeling efforts including audience targeting and optimization
• Take ownership of projects and analyses from conception through execution, presentation, and follow-through, collaborating with relevant partners
• Help contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture at Peacock
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other relevant quantitative fields
• 6+ years of analytical experience with large data sets and analytical tools
• Background in media analytics in the direct-to-consumer, eCommerce or Entertainment spaces
• Fluent in SQL, proficient in Excel, and proficient in using at least one of the following programming languages for data analysis: R, Python, or Scala
• Knowledge of Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools
• Knowledge of data science techniques a plus
• Track record of leadership of analytics teams
• Demonstrates strong sense of curiosity, accountability, and ability to execute projects of all sizes with vision & purpose.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
