This position will be responsible for the following:
• Ad hoc accounting projects
• Capital oversite and review of journal entries and reconciliations, as well as process to capitalization in Infinium/new project to convert to SAP Fixed Asset project starting in 2021
• Journal entry reviews for controllership team
• Partnering with the business operators to flag concerns and brainstorming solutions to de-risk the business
• Assisting with tracking and review of accounting issues and their resolution with Comcast/NBCU Technical accounting
• Sales Tax Projects, including Vertex integration, reporting review, and monitoring Comcast filings
• Review of T&E and PCard financial review procedures, including being the business operators main contact person for questions
• Process documentation for new and existing processes and contribution of new ideas for efficiencies and accuracy of financials
• Review of Blackline reconciliations and underlying supporting documentation
• Assistance with review of Balance Sheet monthly and preparation of the Quarterly Balance Sheet Review package
• Assistance with data requests, T&E deliverables, PCard deliverables and other controllership due dates

Qualifications/Requirements
• Four year degree (B.A., B.S.) in Accounting
• 6-10 years accounting experience required
• CPA License required
• Excel required
• Able to work with different departments and clients
• Problem solving skills, ability to dig in to problems and drive resolutions
• Programming accounting and/or fixed asset/software experience desired
• Detail Oriented
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

Desired Characteristics
• Big 4 Accounting experience preferred
• Excellent research, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• SAP experience preferred
