Job Description
Overview and Responsibilities:

At Paramount Global, our Workforce Enablement group is in the final stretch of a 3-year initiative to transform and consolidate our HR and Payroll Tech platforms under SAP SuccessFactors. After consolidating multiple HR and Payroll solutions under one roof, we're on a new mission to build and centralize our Global HR Ops and Data Management practices around our new ecosystem.

Reporting to the VP Global HR Operations, the VP HR Data Management and Governance will play a key role in our operational transformation by: (1) Leading a global team of HR professionals responsible for data entry, position management, data audit & QC, and testing, (2) Re-envisioning global HR data management processes and procedures from the ground up, (3) Overseeing the design and implementation of data management services across the US, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, and (4) Partnering closely with internal stakeholders (SuccessFactors Center of Excellence team, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Finance, Workforce Analytics, and broader HRBP and HR Ops groups) to build best-in-class practices that set a high bar for data quality and accuracy, process scalability, and continuous operational improvement.
• Develop, promote, and execute a strategic vision and roadmap for the Data Management team; execute on short-term wins while steering the long-term evolution of your function
• Build partnerships with key stakeholders, such as the SuccessFactors COE team, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and Finance, and drive cross-functional alignment on HR Data procedures
• Set expectations for prioritization and organization to ensure daily transactional requests are fulfilled quickly and accurately
• Drive consistency and clarity by documenting transactional processes and creating an ongoing training plan for your team, as well as leading change management and adoption initiatives for stakeholders
• Oversee adherence to SOX controls and procedures related to transactional updates made to employee master data
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability by embedding audit, control, and analytical procedures into the fabric of every week
• Manage special projects, such as building automated workflows, supporting data entry and audit needs for key Compensation, Benefits, and People Development programs, testing for new system updates/configurations, etc.
• Grow your team by analyzing knowledge gaps, developing learning plans, and setting clear expectations
• Build dashboards and SLAs to measure your team's progress and success over time

Basic Requirements:
• 10+ years working in an HR Operations role with significant experience overseeing HR data entry, SOX control practices, and data quality control procedures; some experience in SAP SuccessFactors
• 5+ years leading a team, with a comprehensive understanding of work delegation, performance management, and your own leadership style
• Exceptionally strong communication and relationship building skills; ability to establish close working relationships with teams and stakeholders across corporate functions
• Expert problem-solving skills; you think critically about complex problems and know how to leverage your resources to drive solutions
• Strong consulting skills; experience influencing decision makers with data-driven recommendations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment with quick deadlines and shifting priorities
• Ability to analyze processes within a cross-functional organization; effective at implementing process improvements and managing change
• Executive presence - must be comfortable collaborating with senior HR and business leaders
• Familiarity with global data management compliance topics (such as GDPR)
• Working knowledge of topics across HR functional areas, in particular HR Systems/Operations, HR Compliance, Payroll, Benefits, and TA
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint ability

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $203,200.00 - 254,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
