Job Description
Overview and Responsibilities:

Paramount is seeking a Vice President, Human Resources to provide overall strategic human resources support for Paramount's Ad Sales organization! The VP, Human Resources will partner closely with senior management in the ad sales organization. This position reports to SVP, Human Resources Paramount and will be based in New York.

The VP HR while liaising with SVP of Ad sales will provide HR leadership to employees as well as the Ad sales leadership senior management team, in collaboration with centers of excellence that sit within the Corporate HR function. They will provide a broad range of HR mentorship for achieving strategic objectives that include organization design and transformation, talent management, organizational efficiency, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, compensation, and recruitment.
• Lead the daily HR operation for ad sales, encouraging a progressive and proactive business impact driven human resources culture
• Support the SVP of HR in 1. developing the people strategy for the ad sales division and 2. designing and implementation of strategic HR programs critical to the ad sales division and its vision
• Support employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, strategy, compliance, and other COE led initiatives.
• Work with ad sales leaders across the company to identify future talent and implement differentiated development and retention strategies to meet business needs.
• Provide mentoring to leadership, offering insight, feedback and a proactive plan regarding aligning the organization to achieve desired business results.
• Provide resources, leadership and counsel regarding diversity and inclusion while working with Paramount's Corporation's centralized Office of Global Inclusion.
• We maintain a positive and productive work environment through effective employee relations practices. Advise and/or partner with in-house legal counsel as appropriate in order to optimally manage employee relations, contain problems, conduct investigations and address issues with employees.
• Coordinate corporation wide initiatives in partnership with HR centers of excellence, including: incentives, bonus, stock, merit, performance management, training, and other types of corporation-wide programs.
• Inculcate a data centric strategy for ad sales Human Resource's function and team.

Basic Qualifications:
• At least 12 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Prior experience working as a human resources business partner supporting a global sales function preferred.

Additional Qualifications:
• Extremely strong business insight and strong executive presence.
• Ability to counsel and influence management and employees.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in a fast-paced, multi-tasking and dynamic organization along with significant influence/negotiation/mentor skills with senior-level corporate executives.
• Knowledge and practical application of HR teams including employment and labor laws, employee relations, management and leadership development, performance management, organizational design, recruitment and compensation philosophies.
• Successful demonstration of launching and implementing multiple HR programs.
• Ideal candidate has experience working within a centralized HR function in a matrixed format.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where time is of the essence!
