The Audience Impact & Intelligence team is a specialized group of strategists and researchers who power advertising sales with audience-forward, culturally fluent insights for the ever-changing media ecosystem. We inspire our sales teams with deep audience understanding, strategic insights and data clout for their clients. Our group is charged with making the consumer connection with Paramount's many varied audiences across all platforms by providing expertise in generational and life stage segments. We specialize in studies, surveys, data sets, and metrics that help internal and external clients further their knowledge of targets, engagement, consumerism, ad efficiency, and culture.

The Insights & Cultural Intelligence (ICC) department is responsible for unearthing insights about different audiences and the cultural context in which they exist. The Senior Analyst, ICC contributes to projects for both internal and external partners, takes part in brainstorms, and crafts culture-forward narratives for thought leadership initiatives and for creative strategy development. You help ensure that ICC project content is always on track. You will also work closely with the broader Audience Impact & Intelligence Ad Sales teams and provide operational and executional support on a wide variety of assignments, including, but not limited to: research, analysis, storytelling, and project management. In addition, you will develop meaningful insights, thought leadership, and future-forward cultural intelligence across audiences, business units, and subjects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Work with the Insights & Cultural Intelligence team
• Research and analyze pertinent industry and cultural trends and evaluate business problems
• Act as 2nd chair on panel and community management responsibilities
• Regularly demonstrate intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and a passion for broadcast media
• Analyze quantitative research and contribute to cultural analyses
• Communicate both verbally and in writing to all levels within the organization
• Work day-to-day with a wide variety of third-party vendors and actively participate in regular meetings with them
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Cultural Studies, Statistics or related field
• Minimum 2 years of research experience preferably at a broadcast/cable network, agency, or digital media company
• Demonstrated expertise and proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Excel (pivot tables and macros a plus) and PowerPoint
• Prior experience with market research platforms (MRI-Simmons, YouGov, Qualtrics)
• Experience writing/programming surveys
Additional Qualifications:
• A strong interest in consumer brands, media, business and culture, and the ability to think and write critically about how these elements interact
• Working knowledge of qualitative market research is a plus
• Excellent desk research skills
• Be a team player who also can work independently, handling multiple assignments at once in a fast-paced environment
