Primary Responsibilities
This position reports to the Director of Color & Editorial Operations within Technical Services and is responsible for direct oversite and supervision of Color & Preservation projects and new release Feature,TV, HDR Acquisition feature & trailer and DCP scheduling across all Post Services facilities
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Handles project level operations related to Color & Preservation titles across Post Services facilitates. Scheduling and providing timelines and logistics to complete titles in all aspects of production and delivery including new release Feature & TV, Acquisition and Trailer QC's.
• Leads scanning, dirt, and restoration services through 3rd party vendors for related titles
• Runs workflow processing and quality assurance
• Leads HDR & SDR mastering on related titles through facilities
• Handles archival preservation of assets into ALIAS for related titles
• Runs DI Validations and various special on-lot projects as assigned
• Communicates with project managers providing technical and status information on assigned projects
• Assures timely processing of billing and accounting requirements
• Provides cost estimating, budgeting, and coordination of incoming projects
• Ensures process, procedures, and workflows maintain on-time delivery of projects
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a post-production facility or similar studio role
• Solid understanding of HDR & SDR color workflows, editorial & tapeless mastering production processes
• Xytech experience preferred
Advanced Qualifications
• High profile talent interaction and scheduling management!
• Strong scheduling and accounting skills
• Candidate must be proficient in Word, Excel and familiar with Windows and MAC operating systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills for collaborating with potential and existing clientele
• Excellent organizational abilities are necessary to coordinate the multiple and simultaneous tasks involved
