As a member of the Department

Channel Operations' role is to publish flawless schedules across multiple platforms on behalf of VCNI's global brand organization. Key responsibilities include the execution of brand marketing and commercial strategies, operational management of live shows, and maintaining the editorial, legal, and technical soundness of all schedules by identifying and escalating issues that could affect service performance. Channel Operations is accountable for the final scheduled product and the channel flow before it is published to our audiences.

The scheduler manages and publishes a set of schedules:

Support our brands with optimism & determination
• Act as the main point of contact for the programmers/editorial leads of the brand's schedules
• Execute marketing and commercial strategies across schedules as instructed by the brands
• Create attractive and accurate schedules that comply with brand and legal requirements
• Communicate effectively on all matters relating to the schedules

Leverage agility & adaptability to drive efficiency and excellence in operations
• Provide operational support to departmental projects
• Prevent, monitor and solve issues to ensure flawless schedule delivery to audiences
• Ensure that all data entry to systems and platforms and their output is accurate

Foster a culture of inclusivity & collaboration
• Actively tap into VCNI resources and ensure compliance to the policies of the organization
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment

That's why we want you to have:
• Fluent in English and preferably another language
• At least 1 year experience in a scheduling, planning or TV environment, or a BA level in education
• Experience with working in a content management or databasing system is preferred, as is some knowledge of television and / or broadcasting technology.
