Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Content Sales Executive who will be responsible for driving revenue for both Paramount Pictures Films and CBS Media Ventures off network content, exploiting content across various broadcast, cable, and digital (FVOD) platforms in the US region. The VP of Sales plays a key role in forming and advancing our strategic sales plans for film and TV series across multiple platforms.

CBS Media Ventures is the preeminent company in television syndication. CMV produces or distributes 11 first-run series, including the long-running, critically acclaimed hits ''Judge Judy,'' ''Dr. Phil,'' ''Entertainment Tonight,'' ''Wheel of Fortune,'' ''Jeopardy!,'' ''Inside Edition'' and ''Rachael Ray,'' as well as the new daytime series ''The Drew Barrymore Show.'' The division also handles national barter advertising sales for Debmar-Mercury's and Fox's first-run syndicated programming, and operates Dabl, a multiplatform, advertiser-supported lifestyle network (www.dabl.com). Role Details:

This position is part of the Paramount Pictures Films & CMV Content Sales team based in Los Angeles (with flexibility to be located elsewhere.) This role will report to the EVP, Domestic Licensing & Distribution. This role focuses on selling films and TV series to multi-platforms.

Your Day-to-Day:

As a member of the Sales team, you will drive revenue for Paramount Pictures & CBS Media Ventures, exploiting content across various broadcast, cable, and digital (FVOD) platforms in the US region.
• Collaboration & Relationship Building: Form effective, strategic partnerships with external content partners. Internal collaboration in business meetings with peers across CMV and Paramount at the EVP and SVP levels distribution (e.g., sales, finance, business affairs, deal management, product fulfillment, marketing and research.)
• Negotiation & Planning: Writing proposals, plan pitches, identifying/analyzing revenue opportunities and closing deals utilizing a working knowledge of off network film libraries, options, exclusivity.
• Pricing Strategy & Analysis: Establish value of movies on a window by window basis dependent upon internal analysis and understanding of size of service, rights, & hold backs.
• Provide up to date projections for studio acquisitions based upon evolving media landscape.
• Create sales growth opportunities through targeted license offerings and value optimized terms.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years of lead sales experience working on multiple, prospective deals with the ability to prioritize appropriately
• Extensive experience leading complex content distribution deals in film/TV series sales or content buying on acquisitions side.
• Strategic and creative thinker with advanced negotiation, deal making and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of entertainment windowing cycles across media landscapes.
• Strong knowledge of television series production business models across new media, broadcast, and cable originals.
• Key knowledge of digital rights and the interplay between evolving business models across different television media.
• Strategic thinker with advanced sales, negotiation and problem-solving skills
