Sr Financial Analyst - Financial Interfaces

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the processing and error analysis of domestic and international financial interfaces, settlement runs, scheduled accounting projects as listed below and any additional accounting/operational projects:
• Processing error investigation and correction
• Monitoring and analysis of various Master Data and BOM ratio interfaces
• Error analysis and correction of SAP splitter program
• Participation in multiple weekly conference calls as necessary
• Performing necessary research and running reports to satisfy various audit requirements
• Running of scheduled and ad hoc reports in BW and MicroStrategy systems
• Various research, financial analysis and reconciliation projects as necessary
• Contacting different departments of PHE to obtain information and perform research or request action
• Contacting vendors to obtain information or request action
• Requesting system improvements and/or system problem correction from IT Department
• Testing of various SAP and finance related projects, fixes and improvements
• Performing journal entries as necessary
• Flexibility, persistence, excellent attention to detail, ability to learn quickly and analytical skills are the keys to success

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
• Minimum 2 years related experience

Desired skills
• General accounting background and ability to optimally complete an equal blend of accounting and operational tasks
• Strong proficiency in Excel (build formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc)
• SAP experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of BW part of SAP system is desirable
• Previous experience in entertainment industry preferred
• Some experience with Master Data setups, interfaces and projects in general
• Detail oriented and possess strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to independently research, investigate and acquire information from various sources within and outside of the Paramount Home Entertainment organization
