Job Description
ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI) is the international division of ViacomCBS. The division oversees the production, broadcasting, distribution and promotion of key ViacomCBS brands and platforms in more than 180+ countries outside of the United States. These platforms include Nick Play, Pluto TV, Paramount+, BET Play, MTV Play and Noggin. These brands include MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Telefe in Argentina, Channel 5 in UK, Network 10 in Australia, BET and others.
We now have an exciting new opportunity for a PMO SVOD Senior Manager (based in Sydney) to oversee the program management of our streaming products in Australia. The ideal candidate needs to have strong experience working in an international context and managing product rollouts on an aggressive timeline, working with both internal and external stakeholders.
Position Overview:
This role requires an experienced professional with a proven track-record in project management and partner technical integration - someone who can bring sharp, sophisticated thinking to the team while elevating executional excellence. You will take an active leadership role in the team and build an environment that fosters the prescribed agile methods and processes. You are able to identify issues, resolve conflicts, call out risks if necessary, and work across the organization to execute the project.
The role will closely coordinate with key central and regional functional leads for VCNI's steaming business (product, finance, legal, content, marketing, ad sales, content ops, distribution, business development, etc) and will be responsible for managing the workflow between them to successfully deliver against product rollouts. In addition, they will work closely with external stakeholders, including third-party digital publishing partners (e.g., Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, LG) to deliver VCNI's Streaming product release strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for the role, you'll need to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
• 5+ years of experience in program/project management in a well-established, high performing software development environment
• solid experience in appropriately handling risks, high pressure projects and conflict resolution
• deep understanding of app development and distribution
• extensive experience in project management within the media industry
• track record of success in product launches
• strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
• excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
• high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• ability to adapt to changes in schedules, delivery and business priorities
