Paramount Pictures International is seeking a Graduate Business Analyst on a 6-month contract.

The purpose of this job is to take an important role in the analysis, documentation and testing of a major upgrade being undertaken for Paramount's theatrical distribution system.

The Graduate Business Analyst will be involved primarily in testing the new software release in preparation for its deployment. In order to do this, they will learn about the theatrical distribution business, and the software we use to support our territories.This position requires someone with the ability to work independently, meet project deadlines and interact effectively with different levels of the IT community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Technical analysis, writing detailed testing specifications, performing testing and documenting the resultsl
• Participate in gathering user requirements for new functionality.
• Provide technical assistance to our clients.
• Communicate with our software vendor to identify appropriate technical solutions for business issues.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

Essential:
• Bachelor's degree
• Reliability and punctuality
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Effective communication skills in working with technical and non-technical people – including attentive listening, precise, comprehensive questioning and quick learning skills
• The candidate must be capable of working in an environment where work priorities can change rapidly.

Desirable:
• A command of modern languages (e.g. Spanish, French or Portuguese)
• A previous industry placement or internship
• An understanding of general accounting principles.
