Overview:
Paramount Home Entertainment (PHE) is responsible for ViacomCBS' home entertainment and transactional digital distribution activities worldwide! The division handles sales, marketing and distribution of home entertainment content on behalf of Paramount Pictures, Paramount Animation, Paramount Television Studios, Paramount Players, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and CBS and applicable licensing and servicing of certain DreamWorks Animation titles!
As part of the division's marketing efforts, the PHE Public Relations (PR) department manages all publicity in North America and leads all aspects of PR in territories worldwide for a wide range of disc and digital products. In addition to Paramount's current theatrical releases, we also implement campaigns for titles in the studio's vast library of renowned classics, as well as for a broad range of acquired films and television series. Campaigns include outreach to print, broadcast and online journalists to secure reviews, feature stories, and talent interviews.
Responsibilities:
• Adds vendors to SAP, inputs invoices, generates POs, and confirms payments
• Places product orders and tracks shipments from distributor to fulfillment house
• Coordinates press mailings, including press materials, product and teasers/premiums
• Assists with securing promotional items
• Manages and fulfills talent mailings
• Generates and distributes weekly agenda & release schedule
• Assists with booking talent travel & securing TAs
• Orders couriers, gate passes, etc., as needed
• Arranges meetings by securing conference rooms, issuing meeting requests, and coordinating handouts
• Prepares reports and presentations in PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word as required, and keeps internal documents up to date (i.e., talent schedules, timelines, status reports, upcoming breaks, etc.).
• Performs administrative duties such as filing, typing, and copying documents
• Coordinates end cards for New Release, Catalog, Television titles
• Arranges detailed travel plans and itineraries and compiles travel documentation and expense reports
• Light research duties; research media coverage and industry trends
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of related assistant experience
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP Ariba highly desirable
• Experience in Entertainment Industry a plus
• Highly Proficient with MS software including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Should be familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines in a calm manner
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff, vendors, and senior management
• Should be organized and detail oriented and able to manage multiple high priorities and have the ability to appropriately prioritize work and proactively anticipate and manage time efficiently
• Highly responsive to the whole team
• Self-motivated
