Responsibilities Include:
• Leading frontend projects and engineering teams working across Paramount's media supply chain
• Participating in the Agile development process as an individual contributor and as a lead software engineer
• Working closely with UX/UI team to implement wireframe designs
• Working closely with QA team to understand and prioritize bugs
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with users, product, management, and other technical teams across Paramount Tech
• Evaluating new technologies and developing documentation and standards for future use
• Conducting technical assessments of requirements; prioritize and breakdown tasks for sprint planning
• Assessing work and providing timelines
• Mentoring Colleagues on software engineering standard methodologies
• Performing code reviews and ensuring quality across projects
• Working with other project leads to help remove blockers and facilitate timely work you're doing
• Challenging the status quo and influencing long term strategy

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years of programming experience with 2 years Angular and experience with RxJS
• Experience leading software engineering projects and teams
• The ability to evaluate an individual's strengths and make informed decisions on task and project assignment that sets them up for success

Additional Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or another related field
• Solid engineering fundamentals
• Understanding of application architecture and design patterns
• Experienced working in an agile environment
• Experience handling several projects simultaneously
• Flexible and adaptive; able to balance multiple priorities
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
• Ability to think critically and communicate risks
• Experience working as part of a global engineering team
• Experience with AWS a plus
