Paramount is seeking an Information Security Architect to join the Cloud Security Engineering team which designs, builds, and deploys solutions to protect Paramount Streaming and its customers against advanced adversaries. You will research the latest threats and methods for deploying infrastructure controls which aid in the prevention and detection of security vulnerabilities. Your mission will be to ensure that the data and services powering Paramount Streaming as well as our core brands remain secure. In this role, you will influence work across many teams including infrastructure, DevOps, engineering, and product management.

This is a critical role with a wide range of responsibilities, including:
• This person should think of infrastructure as code, and be comfortable working closely with many teams to collaborate on automation efforts.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing security standards, technology decisions, and process integrations for cloud-based architectures.
• Architect, configure, manage, and deploy devices and services including firewalls, VPCs, Security Groups, Key Management, and Secure SDLC pipeline to improve our ability to prevent and detect intrusions in real time.
• Deep troubleshooting related to failures, performance and networking including root cause analysis and building more fault-tolerant systems.
• Evaluate DevSecOps tools and software to determine best-in-class solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure and change management, including off-hours maintenance when needed.

Qualifications:

We believe the right individual will possess the following qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 7+ years managing and monitoring Linux systems and related mobile/media technologies
• In-depth knowledge of public cloud providers like AWS and GCP is required, including IAM policy guardrails, and other security best practices
• Experience with building and operating secure infrastructures with 4+ years in Information Security (DevSecOps is a plus!)
• Experience with application security testing (SAST/DAST) tools and related processes
• Validated experience with programming languages; ideally Python or Go
• Experience with orchestration tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager
• Direct experience with Kubernetes is a plus!
• Deep attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams to collaborate on solutions

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $150,000.00 - 180,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
