The Financial Analyst is responsible for all accounting functions related to Domestic and International Digital Distribution of feature motion pictures.
Overview & Responsibilites
• Review and analysis of Digital license agreements (interpret contractual terms; establish revenue recognition requirements; establish billing and payment terms).
• Run royalty statement ingestion process with third party provider, Whip Media.
• Handle royalty statement processing in Media Maestro accounting system.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Mediamorph and Media Maestro.
• Maintenance of product tables for Media morph and Media Maestro.
• Lead general ledger maintenance for accounts related to Media Maestro.
• Reconcile Medial Maestro key controls for month end close.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required, a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related area preferred
• Experience with financial analysis, US GAAP and IFRS

Additional Qualifications
• 1+ years related experience preferred
• Experience in month end close and reporting preferred
• Experience in entertainment industry preferred
• Advance proficiency MS Office (specifically Excel)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Self-starter with ability to proactively identify issues and propose resolutions
• Excellent written & verbal communication and inter-personal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines
