Overview and Responsibilities
This position is an active contributor to the Global Program Acquisitions Group which licenses a high-volume of content for a well-recognized suite of networks and services. This position will interface and collaborate with the programming and scheduling teams across the portfolio of brands (linear/cable/AVOD/SVOD) to ascertain and help deliver on their content needs.
This role requires a meticulous, highly motivated, self-starter who can anticipate the needs of a fast-paced, deadline-oriented department. Candidate must be strong communicator, have excellent organizational, written & computer skills, be an effective multi-tasker who can re-direct priorities as business needs shift. Must be able to thrive in a dynamic and competitive environment.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Handle accuracy of deal terms for acquired product while tracking competitive product avails
• Partner with team to create presentations & distribute relevant information to key departments
• Track business priorities and action items to ensure deadlines are met
• Assist team on special projects including research, data and industry intel
• Draft product info sheets using database, research performance and online resources for material
• Monitor industry news with close attention to sharing info that may impact the business
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years experience in Scheduling or TV Programming
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
• Entertainment, media-related or program research industry experience
Additional Qualifications
• Familiarity with databases, data management and report generation preferred
• Possess a positive ''can-do'' & team oriented spirit
• Must be adaptable, able to work independently as well as in tandem with department executives
• Proven attention to detail, excellent organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment keeping confidential business information discreet and private
• Technologically savvy; experience with software that supports department workflow efficiencies and advances how department presents information, including Tableau, Sharepoint, Airtable
