The Channel Editor is part of Spain's Programming & Content Department of Pluto TV and is responsible for the entire day to day operations of multiple television channels by maintaining content standards and implementing schedules within strict timelines. The Programming & Content Department is responsible for the content strategy for all on-air schedules for our linear-style channels and Video-on-Demand section. The position is based in Madrid.

Main responsibilities:
• First point of contact for programming and media planning for all operational questions relating to the channels;
• Strategically evaluate and organize content inventory (shows, episodes etc.) in our Content Management System;
• Ensure content including its editorial metadata is packaged while following technical and regulatory standards;
• Ensure that the schedules are published for linear and non-linear on time and meet editorial guidelines;
• Maintain clear, concise and up to date documentation about the channels;
• Create content highlights and promotion strategies for the channels based on performance data;
Our ideal candidate should fit perfectly with our values, but apart from that, you have:
• A keen interest and enthusiasm in working within the fast-moving media industry;
• A passion for content and entertainment - particularly for TV, Movies, online content, and streaming;
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks;
• At least 1-2 years working experience;
• Media experience in television or TV streaming platforms with knowledge of television and/or broadcasting technology a plus;
• Excellent written and verbal skills in Spanish and English;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite is required. Experience working in Content Management systems is preferred;
• A hands-on approach and drive to try new things;
• A cooperative, communicative, and team-oriented work style;
