BI Processing Manager

Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join the Paramount team! As a new member of the International Streaming Data and Analytics Operations & Development group, you will have the opportunity to work with other members of your team to ensure that all of our financial operations run smoothly.

This is a 12-month fixed term position.

We're looking for a new team member to join our International Streaming Data and Analytics Operations & Development group.

As a key member of the data and analytics processing function your main duties and responsibilities will include:
• Manage data integration and ETL projects
• Ensure data is effectively managed and fit for purpose
• Work to automate, standardize, streamline and document regular operational processes
• Ensure that any non-system, data (e.g. manual entries) are fully approved, accurately and efficiently entered and logged for future reference
• Define, embed and communicate required standards and policies to enable reporting excellence
• Connect regularly with the Data and Analytics Team Leadership to further understand business context, priorities and provide data and analysis
• This is not a people manager role, but some mentoring of junior team members will be required

Must-Have Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience as a BI professional
• Have a passion for Data and Analytics, BI and an understanding of how information can drive competitive advantages
• Be able to build relationships and to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
• Confident SQL knowledge to perform queries, create and maintain database tables (we use T-SQL)
• Analytical mindset
