The Strategic Yield & Revenue Forecasting team supports Paramount's mission of establishing itself as the industry leading provider of premium inventory in the advertising community by supplying strategic data and growth recommendations to the company's leadership. The team is focused on long range forecasting and tracking the business' monthly, quarterly and annual digital revenue targets across properties and platforms, optimizing revenue attainment with cross-functional teams, communicating detailed and concrete insights to essential departments including Finance and building efficient, robust data assets to support this mission.

The Analyst within the Strategic Yield group will have the opportunity to work on strategic projects that cross departments and functions with significant access to senior leadership and become subject matter experts across our entire portfolio.
• Anticipates the reporting needs of the business by guiding dataset design, innovating on new reporting metrics and building analyses for internal and partner audiences that drive decision making
• Assist in the Forecast, Budget, and LRP processes for Paramount's Digital Ad Sales revenue
• Create sustainable dashboards that illustrate how key performance indicators (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics are changing over time. Provide ''color'' and insights from the findings and make recommendations to the business.
• Provide ad hoc reporting to collaborators across the business including but not limited to Finance, Sales, and Business Intelligence. This involves running SQL queries for large data sets to identify business metrics and building reports and dashboards directly from the data warehouse
• Streamline business processes to mitigate problems that lead to revenue losses
• Bring a fresh perspective to departmental daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting, helping to position analysis in a creative and concise manner
• Develop a deep understanding of yield management and revenue drivers of the ad sales business; uncover new / more efficient means of driving revenue
• Seek revenue & analytics questions from across the organization

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years related work experience in related analytical field
• Proficient with analytical tools and languages supporting data analysis, reporting, and visualization - Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Collaborative Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Willingness to learn and apply SQL frequently with the goal of writing & optimizing complex queries
• Comfortable communicating across all levels of the organization; communicates data and present findings to a non-technical audience in an easeful way
• Relentless in improving the status quo; seeks to elevate the performance of the group and partner teams
• Creative & analytical mentality; capable of combining the two to cultivate new ideas and improve processes
• Interest in working in the Entertainment / Media industry

Additional Qualifications:
• Exposure to Revenue Operations, Data Analytics, Finance, Digital Sales or other quantitative fields
• Analytics experience preferred (SQL, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc), with the ability to use revenue data to navigate and generate useful insights
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience building financial models
• Ability to work cross-functionally across a large and complex organization with engaging experience collaborating to address problems
• Experience with Digital Ad Sales systems such as Freewheel, GAM, Operative, Salesforce a plus
• Candidates should display both a natural curiosity and a talent for finding the signal through the noise
