The BET Ad Sales team is looking for a Sales Assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Account Executives (AEs) in preparing sales orders and monitoring client accounts
• Maintain operational efficiency of agency orders through approvals, tracking of linear commercial inventory, movement requests, allocations and ADUs (audience deficiency units) within the sales system Wide Orbit
• Makegood any commercials that did not air into future weeks
• Daily contact with Traffic and Pricing & Inventory to ensure flawless execution and delivery of agency orders
• Ensure client restrictions are upheld by confirming client DNA (Do Not Air) lists are being followed by Traffic as well as commercial separation
• Coordinate with Brand Solutions team to carry out advertiser's creative tag tune-ins and any other specific requests
• Monitor/track and regularly report on client impressions working with multiple departments to make any adjustments needed to ensure orders deliver and bill in full
• Generate reports to troubleshoot and resolve order discrepancies
• Work directly with Finance to help clear billing issues and ensure revenue reconciliation at the end of each billing cycle
• Maintain client database and account list
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a customer service setting
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills
• Strong math aptitude and time management skills
• A proficiency with multi-tasking and be detail and results oriented
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel
• WideOrbit experience preferred, but not necessary
