The Multiplatform Production Group is an internal production team focused on providing comprehensive production management and post-production services to brand creative and marketing groups across Paramount Global. MPG specializes in producing a wide variety of content including promos, image campaigns, still photography (key art, gallery, press), digital series, linear extension, tentpole events, social, behind the scenes, integrated marketing, show opens, corporate, and consumer product marketing. Brands supported include Showtime, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., MTV, VH1, CMT, Logo, BET, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, and TV Land.

The Paramount Multiplatform Production Group is seeking a Production Coordinator, based in New York, to support the day-to-day production activities for MTV News & Logo Digital/Social content. The content is mostly short-form, live and pre-taped formats, including breaking news stories, follow-docs, interviews, music performances, red carpet / press events, and round-table panel discussions.

The Production Coordinator reports to the Line Producer, and works closely with the Line Producer and other Production Management team members to ensure that productions are fully supported and organized throughout pre-production, production, and wrap. This is a demanding and fast paced production environment requiring proactive and positive thinking. Candidates must be a continuous promoter and supporter of diversity, inclusion, and equity in the workplace.

Responsibilities: 
• Work closely with Line Producer and other production team members to support the production needs of the MTV News & Logo teams
• Manage and distribute call sheets, calendars, shoot schedules 
• Facilitate video conference calls, arrange meetings, guest lists for security, etc.
• Contact and hold freelance crew for shoots, communicating rates per PM or LP  
• Onboard new project-based employee hires.
• Draft and distribute start paperwork to freelance crew, Talent and project-based employees; coordinate and submit payroll for processing.
• Secure location agreements and appearance releases, and route for internal signatures
• Coordinate travel logistics with Paramount travel department 
• Coordinate and schedule COVID-testing with crew members and testing vendors; source PPE
• Assist crew with equipment requests, pickups and drop-offs
• Support MTV News/Logo on-camera correspondents with various needs including calendar organization, shoot requests, glam, wardrobe and transportation
• Facilitate vendor setup within ARIBA system and submit/confirm POs and invoices 
• Help track costs in departmental cost tracker 
• Assist in actualizing of budgets (PO logs, crew payroll logs, PC logs, etc.) 
• Prepare T&E reconciliations for p-cards and corporate cards 
• Field inquiries from vendors regarding invoices, payments, and/or vendor setup
• Maintain documentation on team's shared drive and in Wrike (project management program) 
• Fulfill other duties and tasks as requested by the project lead or supervisor

Qualifications: 
• BA/BS degree preferred 
• 2 Years + production management experience, preferably with both office and on-set experience  
• Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment 
• Must be able to work a hybrid work schedule (ie 2 days in office / 3 days from home per week, when not on shoots)
• Must be able to travel, mainly domestically 
• Able to respond and work after business hours on productions and/or attend to urgent and timely issues
