Paramount+, a direct-to-consumer digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service from ViacomCBS, combines live sports, breaking news, and a mountain of entertainment. Overview & Responsibilities:
Our Consumer Marketing team within the ViacomCBS Streaming group is charged with the distribution and monetization of premium content across the spectrum of digital partnerships and business models. This includes our direct-to-consumer subscription service Paramount+. The Consumer Marketing Team is a diverse and agile group that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and collaborating with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we deliver Paramount+ content to consumers, however, and wherever they want to consume it.
The Manager, Program & Originals Marketing will facilitate the development, execution, and analysis of Paramount+ Program & Original Series marketing campaigns, delivering new audiences and subscribers for Paramount+.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist in the development and creation of go-to-market strategies for Paramount+ Original series and films, brainstorming marketing concepts that drive subscription
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on go-to-market implementation across our owned, earned and paid media channels
• Oversee the process of creating marketing assets in support of marketing campaigns, and trafficking assets to external and internal partners; input and update asset creative request tickets using Jira to slot marketing assets into creative workflows
• Maintain essential campaign documents including deliverables spreadsheets, calendars, one-sheets and decks
• Conduct analyses of Originals marketing campaign performance
• Identify incremental strategic opportunities to enhance marketing campaigns, drive acquisition, retention, and viewership
• Research industry trends and conduct competitive analyses to help inform decision making
• Key Projects: Go-to-market support for our growing slate of Paramount+ Original Series and Movies
• Creation and maintenance of campaign tracking documents
• Lead execution of marketing plans across select Original Series and Movies
• Assist in reevaluating current processes, including budget maintenance and asset organization, to identify areas of improvement
Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or similar field
• 5+ years working in marketing or entertainment
Additional qualifications:
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
• A self-starter with stellar organizational skills and strong attention to detail with an ability to prioritize and manage workloads, working across multiple campaigns at any given time
• Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills essential; can collaborate effectively across various departments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to analyze and make recommendations
• Mastery of Excel and/or Google Sheets and PowerPoint and/or Google Slides
• Prior experience working for a video streaming service
• A demonstrated passion for premium entertainment
• Prior experience in a creative agency and/or a media agency is a plus
