The Internal Communications Executive plays a vital role in assisting delivery of the internal communications strategy for ViacomCBS in the UK. Supporting the Internal Communications Director, you will help to keep employees connected, informed and engaged.

A passion for internal culture, strong writing skills, attention to detail and adaptability are important attributes for this role. Although primarily a UK role, there will be some support required across other markets e.g. Australia, Canada and Israel, particularly in relation to supporting pan-regional Town Halls.

What will you be doing?
• Drive employee engagement and promote our business narrative and priorities to an internal audience
• Support delivery of our internal communications strategy, in particular VCN UK's culture pillar, which includes diversity, equity and inclusion, sustainability and employee wellbeing
• Inform and engage employees about VCN UK's growth in streaming, with the launch of Paramount+ in 2022
• Act as a point of contact for strategic services teams such as HR, Office of Global Inclusion, talent acquisition, pay & benefits, learning & development and facilities
• Manage internal communications channels including the intranet, Workplace, a weekly newsletter and office screens – including drafting copy
• Develop internal employee events, such as Town Halls, panels and themed events
• Brief retained agency and creative teams to deliver visual content which celebrates our content highlights and business achievements e.g. posters, infographics and content reels
• Create a quarterly internal comms evaluation report and manage internal comms processes

• Communications experience at a relevant level
• A passion for internal communications and culture
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of and affinity with VCN UK's brands
• A creative approach to communication and the ability to oversee projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
• Knowledge of digital platforms for internal comms
• Can-do attitude, enthusiasm and flexibility
• Strong organisational skills
