Job summary:
The Manager, Global Streaming Insights is responsible for streaming insights that help meet key business objectives on behalf of ViacomCBS's streaming brands, Paramount+ and PlutoTV! This role's primary responsibility is to lead primary insights projects that support the streaming strategy, marketing, content and product initiatives and to identify and track KPIs that help us monitor key metrics in the global streaming landscape.
In addition to extensive analytical and interpersonal skills. This role requires someone who knows how to interpret data and consumer research, who has experience leading primary consumer insights projects and who has an understanding of the streaming landscape. They must demonstrate the ability to see patterns, connect insights among consumers and to take a leadership role in project management. A candidate with a passion for media and streaming is a must! Responsibilities Include:
Lead streaming insights projects on various topics through primary research that help identify key opportunities for the business based on the insights.
Primary projects explore and visualize the streaming landscapes in the US, size various opportunities for Paramount+ and Pluto TV, establish a deep understanding of unique selling points for these streaming services, and how these services can be improved and grow in usage/subscriptions.
Work directly with the internal team to identify key streaming needs and ensure the insights are continually addressing needs of the business. Manager should be comfortable communicating findings to leadership teams and stakeholders.
Support the Sr. Director with the ongoing project management, analysis and communication of the Domestic Streaming Tracker, monitoring awareness, brand performance and perceptions of Paramount and competitor streaming brands. Spearhead the use of insights and data from the project across the streaming business and collaborate with the wider insights team to extract maximum value from the findings.
Act as project manager for additional primary projects and initiatives whenever called upon. Additional areas of exploration may include various areas such as multi-platform and technology developments and usage as well as general audience insights.
For all projects, ensure outcomes are insightful and deliver on business needs; infuse Paramounts perspective into projects craft outputs to 'bring the audience to life' and champion communication of results throughout the organization.
Handle specific syndicated insight data sources and tools and evangelize their use across the organization; demonstrate data for use by the wider company.
As part of the insights team, we contribute to establishing standard methodology processes and approaches, as well as the maintenance and expansion of insights tools and systems for usage of the wider business.

Experience with syndicated reporting databases such as MRI and YouGov and/or tools or any crosstab product such as SPSS.
Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Proficiency in other languages a plus
Strong PC, Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must.
Experience:
5+ years in media research, preferably at a media owner (TV/streaming/digital) or at a research agency
Strong experience and knowledge of primary research approaches
Experienced with working in an international environment
