Overview

We are looking for a Director of Subscriber Forecasting to build out a team to create subscriber forecast models for Paramount+ including both acquisition and retention cohorts accounting for multiple distribution strategies, content verticals and offers as the service grows.

Responsibilities:

Your Day-to-Day:
• Develop Paramount+ subscriber forecasts and measure performance to plan, including subscriber acquisition by cohort and short and long term subscriber retention in close collaboration with the marketing and finance team to help model revenue and future growth trends.
• Oversee marketing expense forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation by line item.
• Collaborate with acquisition, retention and partnership leads to incorporate their inputs into the forecasting models and analyze how different promotions and platforms impact the business.
• Model out subscriber flows by different cohorts.
• Model out new program greenlight acquisition and retention impact on overall business.
• Analyze subscriber growth and churn to identify factors that drive performance, describe reasons for variance to plan and identify potential levers to accelerate business growth.
• Work with cross functional teams to manage and present monthly, quarterly and yearly metrics on marketing revenue performance management using Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics, Excel or other tools when required.
• Manage and motivate a growing team to produce superior results.

Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ years of forecasting/modeling experience in a DTC subscription-based business.
• Strong understanding of retention cohorts and curves.
• Presenting data and trends in a format that is immediately useful to answer questions about the business growth.
• Highly analytical and data-driven with the ability to surface meaningful insights from large data sets.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate several internal processes and procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate effectively.
• Ability to supervise and motivate others.

Additional Qualifications
• Streaming product experience is a plus!
