It drives business, content, product, and operational decisions by providing rich data, strategic insights and analytical products. Are you We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who is passionate about data and entertainment and who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment!

The position is anchored around our growing SVOD service Paramount+, which includes a wealth of established library content across CBS, MTV Entertainment Group, Nickelodeon, BET and more, together with its growing Originals' slate, such as iCarly, Star Trek: Picard; RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, PAW Patrol: The Movie; Queenpins, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run and Why Women Kill and many more.

Role Details:
Our team primarily focuses on social media for Paramount+ and developing and generating reports, insights, & analysis across multiple sources and solutions - covering account, content and competitor analysis, social listening and more. With a strong understanding of social trends, platform tracking nuances and also having a deep understanding of SQL, this analyst will work closely with the insights and social analytics group to ensure all needed APIs are ingested and appropriate dashboards are built for Paramount+ partners. You will be tasked to identify business, content strategy and social programming opportunities, challenges, and trends and be able to communicate your findings effectively to various partners in the marketing and content vertical. This role will be primarily focused on social data analysis work related to Paramount+.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Define and deliver social focused KPIs and reporting, that will inform social and content strategy
• Write SQL to query a data warehouse (BigQuery) for data in order to answer questions from a variety of stakeholders in the content and social vertical
• Support content, social and marketing teams with needed campaign reporting and analyses
• Present insights and recommendations to the business in a confident and understandable manner
• Develop and maintain statistical and spreadsheet models for social forecasting, scenario planning, and other predictive work
• Use reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau, Data Studio, Sprinklr, DOMO, Talkwalker Analytics to build social-focused dashboards that allow non-data savvy users to generate insights and answer questions in a self-service fashion
• Research industry trends and communicate how these could potentially impact the business from a social perspective

Key Projects (examples):

Work with the data management team to ensure appropriate APIs are ingested and tables are set up appropriately

Design and develop comprehensive reporting tools/solutions for Paramount+'s associated social accounts

Measure social performance around original shows and tentpole events and their respective advertising campaigns

Collaborate with key partners and teams to develop appropriate social goals and forecasting solutions

Conduct downstream reporting and analysis for Subscriber Households who were acquired through social media

Identify social media opportunities for Paramount+, through competitor intelligence analysis and reporting

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years experience in digital marketing/entertainment sector
• Can provide accurate information in a usable form and on a timely basis.
• Demonstrated experience in translating data into insights in a clear and succinct manner, adjusting to a variety of styles and audiences
• Expert in social native reporting
• Experience in social analytics tools such as Sprinklr, Talkwalker, ListenFirst
• Knowledgeable in SQL; Tableau; Data Studio
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel; Powerpoint)
• Phenomenal presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate concepts to partners at all levels
• Ability to work in a fluid environment, against tight deadlines
• Interest in television, entertainment and pop culture

You might also have:
• Strong mathematics, statistics background
• Experience using project management tools like those from Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)
• A background in SVOD or other subscription-based digital services
