WHAT IS THE ROLE

As an Analytics Implementation Manager – UK Streaming, you will lead the analytics implementation function for My5, ensuring we collect the right data across the My5 platforms on web, mobile and large screens. You will help set the ambition for how we evolve analytics to meet the changing needs of the business. You will be instrumental in managing the business requirements for analytics, providing recommendations on what needs to be in place to ensure data quality and accuracy, as well as new data points that will be crucial for My5. You will be a hands-on manager. You will be a tenacious, ambitious self-starter with a passion for building taking established products and innovating and iterating at pace.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set the direction of the technical implementation of analytics across the estate.
• Take ownership of business requirements for analytics and its roadmap
• Collaborate with our product team in prioritizing software developers and data engineering teams' work
• Integrate marketing and CRM tools with analytics to allow a single view of our customers throughout the product cycle
• Work with operations teams to maintain and improve Quality of Service analytics (NPAW Youbora)
• Maintain Adobe analytics / other relevant systems / tools to ensure consistent and reliable data, and seamless operations
• Provide thought leadership around standardization of data collection from multiple sources, as well as API-based data collection methods
• Perform web analytics debugging/testing, as well as data validation/reconciliation, data profiling, data auditing and data cleansing activities in a hands-on way to ensure high quality deliverables
• Identify key product performance metrics, business questions and reporting needs
• With Streaming product management team – UK and VCNI – help with the design and implementation of feature A/B testing and functionality-focused usage metrics - i.e. usage of watch lists functionality, usage of social media sharing functionality
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, technical developments and techniques
• Communicate effectively, translate data to stories to support and simplify decision-making processes
• Work with internal or external partners to process, coordinate, and connect various data sources
• Collaborate with UK and VCNI BALA teams and privacy teams to ensure compliance with privacy policy and current legislation
• Embrace the 'One Paramount' approach and encourage collaboration and team working
• Be an ambassador for all VCNI channels, internally and externally
• Adopt and promote the Paramount values and support a culture of inclusion

WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED
• Experience working with Adobe stack (Adobe Analytics, Launch, Adobe Native SDKs)
• Experience with tag management, mobile app, and video measurement implementations
• Experience working with APIs, and using Javascript to retrieve data (Adobe API 2.0)
• Understanding of third party analytics implementation (Adjust SDK, etc)
• Experience working with QoS analytics tools – Crashlytics, NPAW Youbora
• Experience of AB testing design and implementation
• Agile experience and familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
• Understanding data governance, quality, first- and third-party data
• Experience working with analytics specs for analytic tools (Adobe Analytics)
• Experience with Analytics QA and web analytics debugging tools (Charles, Wireshark or similar)
• Familiarity with data ingestion, ETL processes and workflows on cloud infrastructure
• Experience working with external data partners and on-boarding new data partners
• Good at simplifying the message
• Team player and collaborative
• Strong organisational, multitasking and attention to details
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Microsoft Office, mainly Excel & PowerPoint
Other skill that would be beneficial but non-essential:
• Experience with integrating data platforms (DMP, CRM, etc)
• SQL Programming language
• R or Python as open-source programming language
• Strong data manipulation skills and experience, comfortable running complex queries and creating new views on the data
