Job Description
The Director of Sales Partnerships for the FIFA World Cup 26™ will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding partnerships with major premium sales organizations across all 16 Host Cities and beyond that drive revenue growth for the event. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in sales, account management, partner marketing, and the sports industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Partnership Development:
• Identify, evaluate and structure partnerships with the sports world's pre-eminent premium sales organizations.
• Develop and implement partnership strategies to maximize revenue for FIFA World Cup 2026 and sales partners.
• Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and compliance with FIFA guidelines.
• Sales Management:
• Collaborate with partner sales teams to ensure proper support, onboarding and best practices are followed.
• Monitor and analyze partnership performance and sales metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute partner marketing initiatives with partners.
• Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sales partners.
• Set KPIs for partners, regularly assess performance and develop plans to optimize their efforts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
• Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between partners and internal FIFA teams.
• Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of sales partnership managers.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and performance of the partnership team.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
• Market Analysis and Strategy:
• Conduct market research to identify potential partnership opportunities and emerging trends in the sports industry.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices.
• Develop and present business cases for new partnership opportunities to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in sales, sponsorships, business development, or partnership management, with a focus on large-scale events or the sports industry.
• Proven track record of developing and managing successful partnerships and sponsorships.
• Experience in international sports events, particularly football, is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and partners simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Range Minimum:
$112,500 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$150,000 annually
