Job Description
What You'll Do:
• Employee Relations: Support the Milan 2026 HR Manager with performance management / disciplinary / grievance cases as required, conduct investigations, chair meetings where required;
• Absence / Leave Process: Support the Milan 2026 HR Manager long term sickness cases, monitor employee sick leave records, acting upon any areas of concern, handle holiday entitlement queries;
• Maternity / Paternity: Support with cases, meet with employee to advise on policy and entitlements, work with HR Operations team to ensure necessary payroll, paperwork and processing actions;
• Flexible Working: Manage all requests in line with policy and employment legislation, ensure necessary paperwork is completed and payroll changes are made;
• Leavers: Support the Milan 2026 HR Manager with acknowledging resignations and advise employees and managers of process, conduct exit interviews and work with HR Operations for system updates;
• Recruitment: Liaise with middle managers to formulate job descriptions, write job adverts, and help the Recruitment team to manage the process
• Training: Work in conjunction with the Milan 2026 HR Manager to support and advise managers accordingly and co-ordinate employee attendance for workshops;
• Projects: Work with other HR Advisors to ensure policies are updated in line with employment law changes;
• General: Assist the Milan 2026 HR Manager with ad hoc projects;
• Hires: Work with HR Operations team to ensure contract documentation is issued and induction invites have been sent to attendees, assist with IT set-up for joiners, ensure visa documentation is in place;
• Contracts: With the support of the HR Operations team chase outstanding contracts for signature and liaise with the Milan 2026 HR Manager regarding any issues;
• Metrics/Reports: Maintain and prepare monthly reports such as staff lists and trackers to be sent to Finance and Leadership;
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

You Have These:
• Proven experience of providing HR advice and guidance to managers;
• Proven experience of effective relationship building within the business;
• Sound knowledge and understanding of key employment legislation;
• Recruitment experience;
• Payroll and HR administration experience;
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with proven experience of building relationships, with the ability to adapt his / her style to the situation;
• Ability to draft clear, fluent, grammatically accurate and concise written correspondence;
• Able to juggle and prioritise a varied workload, often working to tight deadlines within a pressurised environment.
• A competent user of Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel and Database Management.
• Experience of using and maintaining a computerised HR database;
• Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills;
• Ability to work with conflicting demands;
• Ability to develop and maintain systems to make processes more efficient;
• Business / commercial awareness

We'd Love If You Also Have These:
• Familiarity with Workday would be advantageous.
