Job Description
Are you an energetic self-starter with a desire to engage with people in the community every single day? We are looking for a responsible and dedicated team member to help us with all aspects of Thunder's mobile experience program! This program is an integral part of our overall marketing and community engagement initiative. The OG&E Thunder Bolt is a mobile activation tool designed to reach communities at different events and festivals throughout the state and region. Inside the trailer fans can experience interactive activities, photo ops, and giveaways for all ages! As the Thunder Mobile Experience Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to be involved in special events and game day execution, handle event coordination for all Thunder Alley experiences, oversee event inventory and engagement assets for the department.

In this role you will:
• Schedule and implement all appearances, order all collateral materials, coordinate Thunder entertainment, drive the display vehicle to and from appearances and maintain good relationships with community partners throughout the region during the season.
• Administer all logistics related to the integrated programming from our corporate partners – delivering upon mutually agreed principals, nomenclature, values, and engagement with the public to represent the Thunder and our corporate partners' marketing objectives
• Serve as a brand ambassador for the organization when meeting with local event coordinators, city officials and other constituent groups across the region when leading an event presentation
• Articulate Thunder key values in person, via phone and electronically when vetting different display locations for program involvement
• Proactively identify new opportunities for the Thunder mobile experience to take part in defined community events and/or strategically designated cities across the state of Oklahoma and adjacent regional territories
• Supervise part-time staff for mobile experience, Thunder Alley, and other events support, including participation in the hiring, training, and scheduling processes
• Manage and schedule maintenance of the vehicle, trailer and all other equipment
• Maintain a professional, detailed, clean and guest-friendly environment with the vehicles and supporting resources
• Coordinate data collection at events as directed and support internal programming to build analytical reports/recaps based on experiences, audience development and brand expansion
• Work closely with marketing on promotional items for giveaways to help promote the Thunder brand
• Assist with other marketing/events and entertainment tasks as needed for game nights, events, etc.
• Track and be responsible for maintenance/status of capital events inventory via inventory software program
• Maintain up-to-date appearance calendar for program
• Be responsive to email communication while out of office to ensure business efficiency

What you'll bring to the role:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military or work experience
• Ability to get along well with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong communication, planning and interpersonal skills
• Participate in Thunder-provided driver training session(s)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is vital

Additional details:

Employees will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered. Work schedule will include office hours plus some evenings, weekends, and holidays. Driver's license, excellent driving record and insurance are required as local and regional travel will be required, including some overnight trips. Physical requirements of the position include lifting 50 pounds, bending, stretching and walking or standing for up to 10 hours a day both indoors and outdoors in the elements year-round. Primary work location will be the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Manager, Special Projects & Event Presentation.
