Job Description
As the Oklahoma City Thunder's Brand Influence and Identity team, we value strategy, live for innovation, thrive on challenge, and our Brand Influence Coordinator plays a pivotal role in our success. We are looking for a standout teammate who is ready to dive in and help us continue to build the Thunder brand. You'll work as part of a highly collaborative team in the dynamic environment of professional sports marketing and branding. You will primarily support the planning and execution of brand marketing initiatives, including tentpole and team-related campaigns, merchandising campaigns, and other projects related to brand storytelling.

In this role you will:
• Collaborate creatively and support teammates to implement details of major campaigns throughout the year (i.e., start of season, All Star, Playoffs, etc.)
• Support the development and implementation of brand and multi-cultural marketing projects by overseeing the process of calendar planning and coordination
• Communicate campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to the Brand Influence and Identity and Fan Development teams – as well as other departments when appropriate – to ensure alignment
• Oversee in-arena and in-game brand messaging, including physical and digital assets on the concourse, PA's, and radio and TV reads
• Develop recaps and summaries of brand marketing campaigns and projects to archive as well as identify implications for future application
• Mine insights that help keep our thumb on the pulse of fan segments (the social and cultural trends that are shaping their lives and impacting their behavior) to help inspire our messaging, creative, media and Fan Development strategies – all of which build affinity for the Thunder brand
• Serve as the liaison between the Thunder and ASM (Paycom Center building management) related to marketing requests and planning for third party events
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners to provide Thunder brand support at relevant local community events
• Work with collegiate partners to coordinate periodic student marketing and branding projects as they relate to department initiatives
• Maintain a keen curiosity about marketing and brand trends related to both sports and the general marketplace, including insights and strategies that strengthen brands
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned

What you'll bring to this role:
• We are open to candidates with a wide range of educations and life experiences
• Agency experience preferred – ideally experience in brand development, positioning and communication strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop preferred
• The skills to communicate and collaborate with people of all demographics and across all levels of the organization
• Solid writing skills, copywriting and/or creative storytelling abilities
• The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure with attention to detail
• Good judgment in the decision-making process and critical thinking skills that allow you to work through problems in an efficient and courteous manner
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal communication and listening skills
• Tenacity - Complex projects, a fast-past environment, and deadlines don't scare you, they energize you

Additional Information:

Primary work location will be the Thunder corporate office located in downtown Oklahoma City. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Director, Brand Influence and Identity.
