The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a full-time Financial / Middleware Business System Analyst. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Information Technology. The Business System Analyst is responsible for becoming the subject matter expert for our business systems departments. This position will lead all initiatives for new and existing systems that support our Finance, People Operations and Legal departments. You will be tasked to manage the vendors used to implement and maintain our current systems. The goal is to analyze system and process issues and recommend strategies to resolve these issues.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and lead requirements gathering sessions
• Lead Discovery sessions
• Create system and business process diagrams
• Author business requirements documents

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Business Acumen
• Skilled in the art of Vendor Management
• Understand basic accounting principles
• Understand basic middleware management
• Comfortable presenting to a project team
• Understand basic SDLC practices
• Comfortable providing training sessions and artifacts for new and current systems
• 5% travel may be required for user conferences and support of our minor league operations.
• Technical Acumen
• 1-2 years of experience managing an ERP system
• 1-2 years of experience managing a middleware tool
• 1-2 years creating financial reports

Preferred Qualifications:
• ERP - Oracle Cloud/ MS Dynamics/NetSuite
• Middleware - Workato/CloudSnap
• Experience managing DocUSign (CLM), Namely, Jira, ADP
