Department: Production

Location: Remote, with a Hybrid option. Our office is based in Soho, London. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

Reports to: Head of VFX Production

The key role of the Executive Producer is to oversee awarded projects and ensure the smooth running of the production, assisting new business with bidding and being one of the company ambassadors to forge and maintain long term relationships.

  • Oversee newly awarded projects.
  • Attend weekly meetings with HoP to go over the status of current projects and any potential incoming new projects.
  • Oversee project budgets, milestones, resources, deliveries and the implementation of VFX schedule on specific awarded projects.
  • Working closely with Accounts to keep track of the financial health of your projects and to provide detailed reporting.
  • Manage and maintain client relationships and ensure the progression of the work to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Involved in strategic planning for current and upcoming projects.
  • Assist New Business Department with bidding, when required.
  • Knowledgeable of relevant tax credit schemes for our clients, blended rebates and necessary qualifications.
  • Support, mentor and advise the production teams to ensure the smooth running of awarded projects.
  • Assist HoP with production training as needed.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the senior management giving an overview of current projects.
  • To liaise with the resources team and other key support departments as needed.


Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years hands-on digital production experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully working in Visual Effects Producer capacity on several major productions at a facility.
  • Proven track record in bidding and client management.
  • Must have a specific understanding of visual effects techniques, scheduling and throughput.
  • Strong production and technology knowledge required.
  • Must be a compelling communicator with a proven ability to influence others through diplomacy. Must be able to articulate ideas effectively.
  • Strong communication, listening and people skills are essential. Must be an outstanding people manager/supervisor, mentor and collaborator.
  • Have excellent organisation and interpersonal skills.
